How would you describe your sound?
Jake: Oooh..Very loud, a bit messy..... every so often it stops being messy and and it all comes together it reaches a peak of brilliance laughs roughly every 20 gigs or so.. We sound good when we play big venues though.
Is there any particular meaning behind your name?
All: laugh
Jake: Well there is a reason, but we're not going to say. It's just too dull a reason!
Martino: It's a good name for radio.
How long have you been together as a band for?
Jake: It's just under two years now, in this set up anyway motions to the rest of the band We've been in other bands though.
What was your recent single "massive Misguidance" actually about?
Jake: OOH what a question...... ambiguous lyrics! It was actually orignally written about.. No I can't say it... actually I will say it... laughs about a drummer, I amended the lyrics a lot, it was about an old drummer we had that we hated, I'd love to beable to sing it in front of him without him knowing!
Martino: He'll know now!
Jake: No. We love him ....erm. we love you really.. erm.. I dont want to say his name....

You had a rather warped video for "Massive Misguidance" , involving a kidnap,who came up with the idea for that video?
Jake: Ohhhhhhhhhhh Goooooooooooooooooood! CAN I JUST SAY for the purpose of the tape that it was the director....
Martino: Who came up with the idea..
Jake: Who put all the nasty stuff in, I felt bad about it when I saw it , I didn't like it, I tried to get it changed but it was too late....
Martino: Well I thought it was cool! laughs
Jake: What it was actually meant to be about was this guy who cant tell the difference between fantasy and reality, by watching all this stuff on the TV screens, and he goes mad and gets a bit fucked up in the head, but it doesn't really come across in a three minute video, it just looks like we're bastards and we're not!
Martino:It just looks like we enjoy randomly abusing women!!!!
Jake: I have to say though,. the director who did it is a bloody good director! I must stress though that apart from the one girl we never saw any of the other naked girls , that was shot on a totally different location....
Martino: We've all been in counselling since that video shoot... laughs
How much input do you have into your videos?
Jake: Well the problem is we come up with really big ideas and the budget can't keep up and the director gets involved getting more like "we cant do that."... crowd in next room starts screaming as InMe walk onstage IT'S ALRIGHT, I'M COMING, WAIT FOR ME!!! laughs No but do you get what I mean?

How did it feel to see your video being played on MTV2?
All: laughs
Jake: We've never actually seen it on mtv2!!! None of us have MTV2! We were on channel 5 too but none of us can get that either!
Jamie: I think that people just feel sorry for us and just make it up, it's probably never been on mtv2... laughs
Jake: For the benefit of the tape, Alex has just finally done up his flies....
There's a quote on your website saying "sure our Music is good but you dont know us until you've seen us live...", Do you prefer playing live to recording and shooting videos?
Alex: I prefer live I think.....
Jake: Live is where it's at...
Jamie: Live is good as you get to see people reactions to what you do and stuff, it's amazing.
Alex: We've learnt more about the studio though.
Martino: It's all fun really, I like it all.

What is the best gig you have done so far?
Jake: without hesitating Nottingham Rock City! That was mental..700 kids just going completely wild.
If you could tour with any band, past or present, who would you tour with and why?
Jake: At The Drive In definitely... Martino would probably like Jeff Buckley or The Smiths... Jamie would probably like Guns N Roses everyone laughs ....

Martino: We'd write like a massive list of bands, just a massive bill with us headlining laughs

What would you be doing if you weren't in this band?
Jake: Nothing! Forming a band.....
Martino: We'd be on the dole with large bellies watching Richard and Judy.... laughs
Who are your inspirations?
Martino: That's a bad question.... no! Not a badly written question or a bad question just a bad question as in difficult for us to answer....

What for you, are the best and worst things about being in this band?
Jake: The frustration....

Jake: That's funny that you should say that, cos it can be both... it can make things a bit more fruity laughs but it can also make things difficult. Sometimes endless ceaseless things make it difficult...
Martino: The ups are the gigs and the downs are being stuck in a van for eight hours to get there..
What are your ambitions for this band?
Martino: Just sell out and become some mediocre popband... laughs No just keep what we're doing but getting lots of people hearing it...
Alex: To beable to talk shit to anyone who will listen.. In the nicest possible way.... ohhh noo I didn't mean to you! ahh I've jumped into Martino's rut.... laughs

Martino: Don't listen to people who say things that you don't agree with, get a good manager that you like , and get on with....
Jake: Be tenacious.... tenacity is always a good thing.
Martino: Any one you plan on working with, always make sure that you like them, and that they don't wanna fuck around with what you want to do.
Alex: Be in the band you want to be in.
Jake: Fear will kill you. People leave school and they're on their own and it's really scary, but you've just got to be brave and strike out on your own, and it can be really difficult.
